IsoAcoustics Delos

Turntables are carefully made with extreme precision to pick up the finest details in a record. The stylus navigating the tiny variations in the vinyl’s grooves is a delicate process that is very sensitive to vibrations. The DELOS butcher block from IsoAcoustics decouples the turntable from the supporting surface and dramatically diminishes structural vibrations and resonances, resulting in greater clarity and detail. Combining the mass of a thick butcher block with IsoAcoustics patented isolation, DELOS provides a low noise floor by eliminating the effects of structure borne vibrations. The Island of Delos is one of the most important mythological and historical sites in Greece. In Greek mythology the windy island of Delos was once uninhabitable as it floated aimlessly in the rough Aegean Sea until the Greek god Poseidon anchored the floating island in its place on four granite columns to provide a safe place for Leto to give birth to the twin gods Apollo and Artemis. The Maple butcher blocks have a light amber color and are ultra-durable with a Janko hadress score of 1450. The dark-brown Walnut butcher blocks are bold and rich with swirld and visible grains. They are very durable with a Janko Hardness score of 1100. 1815M1 Delos Maple 18" - 1,75" 18” x 15” - 1,75”Thick - $549.99 1815M2 Delos Maple 18" - 3" 18” x 15” - 3”Thick - $649.99 2216M1 Delos Maple 22" - 1,75" 22” x 16” - 1,75”Thick - $749.99 2216M2 Delos Maple 22" - 3" 22” x 16” - 3”Thick - $849.99 1815W1 Delos Walnut 18" - 1,75" 18” x 15” - 1,75”Thick - $799.99 1815W2 Delos Walnut 18" - 3" 18” x 15” - 3”Thick - $899.99 2216W1 Delos Walnut 22" - 1,75" 22” x 16” - 1,75”Thick - $999.99 2216W2 Delos Walnut 22" - 3" 22” x 16” - 3”Thick - $1099.99
