Diamond 12.1i

The Wharfedale Diamond 12.1i is a step-up compact bookshelf speaker in the Diamond 12i series, designed to deliver richer, more powerful sound while maintaining excellent balance and musicality. With a larger cabinet and 5" Klarity™ mid-bass driver, it offers noticeably deeper bass and greater scale compared to smaller models like the 12.0i. At the heart of the design is Wharfedale’s Klarity™ cone—a blend of polypropylene and mica—providing a lightweight yet rigid structure for accurate midrange and controlled bass with low distortion. High frequencies are handled by a 25 mm woven textile dome tweeter with a damping coating, delivering smooth, detailed highs with excellent dispersion and natural tonality. The cabinet design has been further refined with improved internal bracing and optimized rear bass-reflex port tuning, resulting in tighter, more articulate bass and improved integration across the frequency range. With its larger enclosure and increased output capability, the Diamond 12.1i is ideal for small to medium-sized rooms, offering a more dynamic and full-bodied listening experience
